The Guthrie lab was excited to host Yumna El Tawati this summer through the X-LABS program, a two-week immersive experience designed to introduce high school students to academic research and lab work. Yumna (pictured second from the right) joined our team for hands-on learning alongside Evan and Daniel to investigate the presence of MRSA within waste water. It was a great opportunity to share our research environment and help inspire the next generation of scientists.
